John Smallcomb, DMD
Hailing from Boston, MA, Dr. Smallcomb received his Bachelor of Science in Dairy Production at South Dakota State University in 1977. He continued his education in dentistry at Tufts University in Boston receiving his Doctor of Medical Dentistry in 1981. He has practiced dentistry in Sioux Falls since 1996. Dr. Smallcomb is an active member of the American Dental Association, South Dakota Dental Association, Minnesota Dental Association and the American Orthodontic Society. You will find Dr. Smallcomb to be a gentle, experienced dentist.
John enjoys spending his off hours gardening, reading, boating, playing pickleball and bridge, watching hockey and traveling with his wife. They are proud parents of a son, Matt and his wife Jacki, daughter Meghan and her husband, Josh, and daughter Molly.
Michael Frankman, DDS
is a Sioux Falls native and graduate of O'Gorman High School. He received both his undergraduate and DDS degrees from the University of Michigan. In 2009, he joined Falls Dental Centre in Sioux Falls with Dr. John Smallcomb.
Dr. Frankman is an active member and leader of the American Dental Association, South Dakota Dental Association (SDDA), Southeastern District Dental Society, and Academy of General Dentistry. Dr. Frankman is currently serving on the SDDA Board of Trustees and is a Past President of the Southeastern District Dental Society. Dr. Frankman volunteers with the Dakota Smiles Mobile Dental Program and the Donated Dental Services Program. In May 2015, Dr. Frankman was named the South Dakota Young Dentist of the Year by the South Dakota Dental Association.
Dr. Frankman is a Leadership Sioux Falls graduate, and an active member of the Sioux Falls Area Chamber of Commerce's Young Professionals Network. Outside of the office, Dr. Frankman enjoys traveling with friends and family, and is an avid (crazy) University of Michigan football fan. Dr. Frankman and his wife Lexie are proud parents of Jacob and Charlotte.
